[Gift] FOTN - Mistletoe

Tangerine fluttered through the immense forest, her bright orange with blue highlights a contrast to the trees in which she was searching, pausing at times to hover, checking here and there. Why? Because she was after some mistletoe, the parasite esque plant known for its poisonous white berries, and well.. She was curious if the twigs could be used in other crafts than their normal use. Kissing under mistletoe indeed. Ah, there. She fluttered upwards, red antennae weaving as she found the cluster, entwined tightly around its host… carefully landing, using her claws she nibbled on one of the berries, toxic to most humanoids…. But to her a simple snack. Carefully, she broke of several of its branches for her to play with…. And now that she knew where this one was.. She could come back at any point for more.

However, her attention was arrested on her way back, the twigs clutched tight to her body as she spotted something red, at first she thought it was holly…. But no… upon closer inspection it was another mistletoe… but this one had red berries… though it didn't seem to be thriving as much as its white berried kin, maybe they weren't suited to the milder temperate… maybe these would be more suitable for a warmer….

While she'd initially only wanted them to play with crafts, the chance to test the two very different breeds of mistletoe was a lure she couldn't resist… and if Cutlass decided to impinge… she force feed him the berries…. Since both were indeed toxic.
