[Gift] FOTN - PEACE

Abyssal cruised in the pitch black, the ocean a soothing, peaceful presence that flowed over him; dark, cool... home... and easily where he could stretch to his full length. He opened his jaw in a yawn as schools of fish swam by him, small glowing... yet as much at home in the abyss as he was, for now he ignored them, not hungry. He felt a disturbance, something almost large as he in the these dark depths, it got closer... and it was a presence he recognized, for she'd been his companion during his strength trial and he well remembered her aggressiveness....

He came to full alertness as she neared, and she too halted and the school of fish darted to her, attracted to the bright markings that covered her mass.... a tenseness lingered in the waters, for while Abyssal was generally not aggressive the female sometimes was, her own name the same as his, but different. Abyzuo if he recalled.

It was impossible to tell how much time passed as the colossal predators faced one another... but maybe Abyssal had been wrong about her, maybe she wasn't as aggressive as she'd appeared before.... well... as long as there was enough food he mused.
