[Gift] Event - VL - Strawberries

She was allowed to go strawberry hunting... wasn't she? Reene hesitated, a metallic paw raised in the air from where she paused, her tail and wings twitching in her nervousness. Yes...yes she could... eventually after re-assuring herself she started to trod towards the distant greenery, the night sky glittering down down as night had just fallen.... Hopefully there were wild strawberries left, though she knew that they were really popular ... so would likely have to travel some distance. It was some time later, the moon now showing amidst the star studded sky when she reached the first strawberry bush... though as she'd assumed any ripe or near ripe berries had long since been picked clean.

"What'cha up to?" A voice sounded suddenly and Reene squeaked, her velvet scales standing on end as she spun round to blink guiltily at the dragon and its companion that had appeared. Flames licked at the edge of their extremities and they were quite a bit bigger. "I-I--I'm.... " She stammered, backing up and stumbling over the strawberry bush. "I'm sorry, i didn't mean to startle you... hmmm" Reene blinked as the larger dragons form shifted, becoming much smaller and well... cat like, her curiosity pushing aside her nervousness for a moment. Seeing her look, the other dragoness grinned back, her mohawk of a feathered crest rising... " I'm testing out my dark magic, this form is by far the most comfortable i have.... Sooo... umm were you strawberry hunting." Suzaku asked, flame tipped tail swooshing, her companion landing nearby.

Reene carefully re-appeared, still nervous, but well ... less than she had been. "Y-yes... umm... was... maybe .. hoping ... there .. was still ... some ... left." She responded, her voice getting quieter and quieter as she hid her face behind her metal paws. The other dragon perked up. "Oh? in that case me and my companion here did spot a glimmer of red as we were flying over? If you want we can show you the way.. oh I'm Suzaku." She placed a paw on her chest by way of greeting, but made no other move to pressure Reene. "Umm.. I .. yes.. i would... yes... umm Reene, i'm called Reene." She barked.

The small companion, still in its normal form for it seemed unlike her larger counterpart, she had no wish to change her form darted upwards, fluttering about as it waited for Suzaku and Reene. The Suzaku, stretched slowly before plodding on in the wake of her aerial companion, and behind Reene followed, none of them spoke, but it wasn't awkward, rather... it was comfortable... though there was still no sign of any ripe, unpicked strawberries.

"Ah ha." Suzaku purred, cat like form pouncing into the bush, her back end wriggling as she searched the greenery, to re-appear with a strawberry, not very large but a stunning red. "Here you go" Reene blinked. "b-but you ... you're ... you found it.. it's " The cat-dragon shook her head, forcing the strawberry into Reens mouth and darting off. Reene had no choice but to eat it... and oh it was so sweet and juicy... Licking her lips she followed, this time determined to spot others before Suzaku.

A sound had her looking up, to see Suzaku's companion circling, and the pair bounded off skididng to a halt amidst the green bushes, ripe strawberries a stark contrast to the greenery; and of such different sizes. "Shall we see who can pick the most." Suzaku teased, Reene offered a nervous smile back and nodded before diving towards where the largest bush was.

To say they gathered quite a haul would be an understatement, the ripe strawberries in a pile near them... though the paid had gotten slightly sidetracked and had ended up chasing each other to force feed said strawberries at various times... the companion simply observed a rather large strawberry in her paws as she devoured them.
