Shark attack...

She was starting to get the hang of dark magic... well at least the shape-shifing side ... the ghosts and what not ... well... there was no need for them at the moment.. and well some hunting as well.The problem was, she'd asked Meiron for another form to try.... and well.... "A shark? in the ocean?" She hissed, her fires flickering. Yes like many of his dragons they were used to been around water, and did enjoy the hot springs either in the Cenote or at Meeth's fort. But swimming in the ocean. Her companion had already returned to the Cenote. Her rider though was most unfeeling. "You wanted to try different forms, a shark or whale is certainly not the same as any of the others." This from the navy 'nurse' shark which was Meiron's aquatic form he took, his fin bobbing in the dark waters, the dark blue glittering with the stars above.

Muttering the entire time, Suzaku did pull on her dark magic, wading into the waters, very very not comfortable. Her form oozed, darkness rolling over her as her body shifted.. to something without legs, she panicked as the form solidified, as she was now at the mercy of the waters, a sensations she did not like. "Stop squirming and let yourself drop, you have gills. Just settle into the waters for now." Holding onto her riders words she did as he said.... Oh still not comfortable, and she kept wanting to breathe, she pulled on the magic, surrounding herself in a dark shroud.. which helped alleviate the feel of the water on her... and she still had her feathered crest, her sail was in place of dorsal fin... and her tail remained more spade shaped... she wriggled her fins. Oh... she couldn't talk, but Meiron picked up she was ready, and slowly moved his powerful tail, moving through the dark waters, the star-studded sky above them, not that he was taking her deep, just to coral he knew was off the sea, carefully sheltered despite the many storms.

Following suit, Suzaku moved her tail, the force powering her through the waters, though with the magic she'd wrapped around herself, it was far smoother. Still the waters and the coral were stunning, the darkness doing nothing to her sight. Her fins more for direction, than for moving. The colorful coral sweeping past them as Meiron took her on a loop... fish also darted past, as if taunting the pair, flitting and hiding in the coral... though as well as practicing her shape-shifing they were here to hunt... but not these colorful tricksters.

As Suzaku grew more comfortable (though going too deep was out of the question) Meiron took them beyond the corals grasp and into the open ocean, to where a massive school of fish had surfaced. "Swim around them to compact them in." Meiron said diving below the swarm. Suzaku did as he ordered, the fish responding weaving as Suzaku used her tail to move much more quickly, the fishes greatest defense their sheer numbers. Tighter and tighter she wove them, though she was sure this was a tactic dolphins used and not sharks... oh and there were some dolphins helping as well. Suddenly Meiron struck from below, snapping several fish up, Suzaku followed suit as the fish swam her way, and dolphins also took advantage, their clicks echoing as they struck.

Suzaku kept snapping the fish up as they swam past, corralled by the navy shark and the pod, it felt odd to eat as she hunted, she was far more used to hunting and returning with prey.... Still she quite liked the shark form... if she didn't have to be in water that was.
