Rite of Ascension

Time for your dragon to take to the sky! Flight is a fun pasttime for many dragons and gives them access to several extra prompts. Although all dragons can fly, the Rite of Ascension is an honor reserved to masters of the sky. Dragons may use an Ascension Elixer to skip these rites.

Prompts

Choose one of the following prompts to complete the Rite of Ascension:

1) Show your dragon on their first powered flight. Are they a master of the winds, or does their coordination need a little work? 2) There are challenges, even with flight. Show your dragon overcoming adversity during a flight. This includes powerful winds, a storm, a predator, or other distractions.
3) Depict your dragon flying in a V formation with members of a flock. The flock may be made of dragons, birds, gryphons, or other flying creatures/objects. Most flock members should be about the same size as the dragon (tiny birds are okay for tiny dragons, but not okay for colossal dragons). 4) Winged dragons have an instinct to flap their wings, even before they start to fly. Depict your dragon exercising their wings to prepare for flight. For wingless dragons that are still able to fly, show them practicing their balance while suspended.
