Using Semi-Custom (SC) Coins

The SC in SC coins stands for ‘Semi-Custom.’ This is a very special and rare type of currency that you can use to purchase dragons with specific traits. Additionally, there is a SC coin store where you can purchase several things. SC coins may be sold and traded for money between players, but they cannot be refunded or reimbursed. Exercise responsibility in all transactions with other players. You can obtain SC coins from group events and Challenges.

| Restrictions

  • Traits increase by one rarity if they do not belong to that dragon's element or compatible elements (visible at the bottom of the element page).
  • If the traits are listed in the incompatible area of an element, their rarity goes up by two (regardless of any crossbreed).
  • The following is not available for SC: Mythic Traits, Night element, Day Element, Mutations, Ultra-rare traits, Legendary traits, opposing element crossbreeds, Charged traits, and any trait marked at the bottom of the element page of your dragon.
  • The following crosses are opposing elements, and therefore not available using SC: Light/Ocean, Fire/Storm, Jungle/Wind, Thunder/Dark, Earth/Metal.
  • There is a maximum of five display traits and five modifier traits.
  • There is no restriction on the ratio of rare traits you apply, so long as you have the equivalent value of SC points.
  • The group will not refund or reimburse SC points.
  • You may not use SC points to apply markings or traits to a pre-existing dragon geno.

| Using SC

Once you are ready to spend (or if you would like a design checked before SC purchase), go ahead and purchase a Semi-custom Proof from the SC Store and use the item to create a slot. Then submit it like a normal dragon design, noting the requested geno and the price in the note section. 5 SC will be discounted from the price and the rest will come from your bank. The 5 SC discount will not make the SC price negative. Lineage will be assigned upon upload.
