Ahu embodies what he thinks  is the spirit of the white tiger of lore, unwavering bravery and courage, fiercely protective of his (well Meiron's) territory and of course protective of all the other dragons that look to Meiron... the fact that the majority of these are stronger and wiser, and more experienced never crosses his mind... or more accurately.. he just doesn't  awknowlege that; all are under his protetcion. He's not quite delusional, stubborn maybe in a different way to others in Meiron care, and it truly is a result of how much faith and loyalty he has. Still, he'd come across as more of the the stalwort protecter he thinks he is... if he didn't spend most of his time snoozing in the warm sunshine or in the warm sands, much akin the tiger he thinks he is. Size wise hes at the smallest end of the medium spectrum and cannot carry Meiron in his bestia form, which suits him he should be by his rider side.... or snoozing in the warmth.
