Personality: Lockjaw is the dragon nightmares are made from. Cold, cruel, and utterly remorseless, he lives to instill fear long before he ever attacks. Rather than charging headfirst into battle, he enjoys stalking his prey, allowing the growing shadow of his immense wings and the low, thunder-like rumble in his chest to announce his arrival. He wants his victims to understand exactly what's coming, because to him, terror is just as satisfying as the kill itself. Serving Kronos, the self-proclaimed "King of the Titans," Lockjaw acts as both executioner and living warning, leaving behind unmistakable reminders of his victories. He obsessively collects trophies from those he kills, preferring horns as symbols of worthy opponents, though a skull or severed head will suffice if none are available. Dragons who survive encounters with him often speak less about his strength than they do the overwhelming dread that accompanies his presence. Entire settlements have been abandoned simply because rumors claimed Lockjaw had been seen nearby. He revels in that reputation, believing the greatest predator isn't the one who kills the most, but the one whose name alone is enough to send others into hiding.
