Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. Tigress is a very serious and untrusting dragon, thanks to her previous rider. 

Background.
Originally belonged to the same rider as Beelzebub before either of them found their current riders, who fixed them up and the Tigress had arrived first and was therefor her previous riders first, her legs and what should have been wings are built with wood, polished yes, and at the time she was estatic. She loved her rider more than anything and then came Beelzebub, and all her riders attention turned to this other dragon who got the better quality upgrade, the more advanced upgrades, while she remained stuck with her more primitive body parts. So she grew incredibly jealous of Beelzebub, chased him off, after beating him within an inch of his life and in a fit of rage she ended her riders life and it was the easiest thing she'd ever done. That's when she learned that her rider had never actually  bonded with her and that hurt more than her jealousy of Beelzebub.

It took Lance quite awhile to gain enough trust to get anywhere near her but that plucky little cat kept pushing carefully and slowly until one day she would let him close enough to assess her artificial parts and while she wouldn't quite let him touch her yet, something warm was bubbling between them. She had felt this way with her previous rider, perhaps it was trust or perhaps the beginning of love, the love that only a dragon and its rider could understand. But not yet. She was still settling from her first heartbreak and she feared for just a short amount of time, that if she bonded with this child he would learn of her past and she would once again be abandoned.
