ED-1559: Anomaly

Personality: Despite his horrifying appearance, Anomaly is an exceptionally gentle soul. He understands virtually everything said around him, listening with surprising attentiveness, but almost never answers with words. Instead, he communicates through body language, slow movements, and the unmistakable clacking of his twin beaks, a deep, echoing sound much like a gigantic shoebill stork. Most who meet him for the first time mistake the noise for a threat, only to discover he's simply saying hello.

He can speak, and when he does his voice is calm, quiet, and strangely pleasant, making it all the more startling coming from such a monstrous figure. He simply prefers silence. Patient and endlessly tolerant, Anomaly has a habit of quietly appearing beside those who need comfort, his unsettling appearance often forgotten once his gentle nature becomes apparent. Underneath the dripping flesh, exposed bone, and eldritch form is simply...a very nice boy.
