A gentle giant, Morn is more a protector then he is a fighter. But he takes his role very seriously, as well as his job as assistant to his detective rider. He's an excellent judge of character and a pro at reflection swimming. He acts as somewhat of an enforcer as well. Big and scary and sharp, he usually intimidates a target long before a fight should ever actually break out, allowing the much smaller much more nimble deer rider to get into places he shouldn't. 

 

Not to say Morn can't also get into those places by himself if theres a decent reflection chain of course, but you can't exactly sneak into a storage cupboard when just exiting out of the water in the mop bucket would cause a god awful racket, let alone would get himself wedged in the tiny space. No, lockpicking is not his fortay. He mostly communicates via telepathy, and somewhat acts as a receptionist at the depo. A friendly, if... pretty scary face to get through before you can take up any of the famous Alder's time. 

 

The rality of it is that Morningstar is a very talkative dragon with the same thirst for adventure and knowlede as his rider - only this genius actually has the social skills to back it all up. You kind of have to learn them with your head almost scrapes into most cielings, and... well, if your shadowy reflection has a mind of its own. He struggles with that one the most, and is usually impared somewhat by his dark twin. The thing seems to love  messing up his plans occassionally and causing mischief, but they're generally the same creature and same mind. If one likes you, the other likely does too. Besides; While Morningstar isn't a great lock picker, that shadow on the other hand.. .
