Welcome to the Hatchery! Players can adopt one dragon per account. To learn more about dragons, Riders, and how everything falls together, click here.
Rules:
- Riders need three sentences about them. They do not need art or a full profile. They do not need an official import.
- Independent dragons are treated as if they are normal. All dragons need Riders with matching elements when adopting!
- If the egg is already taken, your adoption request will be turned down.
- You may put "SCRAMBLED" for the ID and "SCRAMBLED" for the adoption option, and a new common dragon egg will be rolled for you instead.

Adopted eggs may be shifted between Riders of the same player. They cannot be sold, traded, or gifted. You may also return them to the Hatchery, though you will not be able to adopt again even when returning the egg.

Dropping Off
This section is for people with too many dragons.
Information:
- You may donate as many dragons as you want.
- You may only drop off one egg per comment.
- Each donated egg awards one Treasure Chest. Each released egg awards one Treasure Box.
- Keep in mind that adopters may edit or redraw your design (as long as they give you credit as the original designer). These designs are also optional, so they may not use them in the end.

Note: Recessive traits are hidden on the sheet to prevent confusion, but will remain on the adopted egg's geno.
Donating a Design
You may donate a design when dropping off an egg or if you see something neat already in the hatchery. Designs have a reward of one Treasure Chest. If the design does not use a base, you get two Treasure Chests and one SC instead of the normal reward. You also receive an account badge for your first donated design, then another badge if a player uploads a dragon with your donated design. You can only claim a design reward once per geno. To prevent confusion, designs cannot have any recessive traits. If you are turning in a design for an egg already in the Hatchery, use this form:

Rider Personality: Laith is a Bestia Erré with a knack for getting into trouble- and a knack for getting out of it. A bit immature and stubborn, he still knows when to shut up and get serious. He has a bit of a competitive streak, and has a bit of charismatic vibe in the same way a chihuahua does. He has a storm element.

Rider Personality: Eira is a mustelid-traited Bestia Ere (i think those're the terms) with Jungle and Fire elements. I've got a concept sketch for her, but she's not uploaded yet. She's inquisitive and adventurous, and wants to travel all over the place and meet all sorts of dragons and other beasties.
