Stella is investigating the disappearance of Apollo and Luna, and she needs your help! The first step of her investigation is to look for clues. In this event, you can aid her by searching themes. These themes, which hold so much importance to the two missing dragons, have to be hiding something!
Current Themes:
- Snowflake
- Aurora
- Mistletoe
- Candlelight
- Partridge
- Family
- Blessing
- Dream
- Wish
- Ornaments
This is only the start of Stella’s search. Perhaps, as time goes on, the search will expand–! Her investigation may even take her on grand adventures. In the meantime, she is doing what she can, and you can help. To enter, draw gift art of someone else’s dragon with one of the themes (no dragon repeats). The dragon may be doing anything as long as it meets the theme.
The Festival lasts until the end of February. For each entry, you will get 1 Silver Ticket. For each entry that matches normal activity requirements, you will also receive 1 Chronocompass. You may enter up to 10 times with different prompts. Although the deadline for this event is at the end of February, more leads are likely to appear throughout the season.
To participate in the event, submit your art through prompts. Say which theme you are exploring in the submission comments area, and if there is a Party Parrot or Calendar on any of the characters. Attach any dragons that appear. EXP will be processed for everyone.
Rules:
- All prompts must be turned in before the deadline (the last second of winter/February).
- Link to all characters in the prompt area. If there are other ARPG critters present, include their Import link so the EXP bonus can be applied.
- You may use tickets from past events to gain prizes. Tickets may not be traded, sold, or gifted.
- Only the artist(s) of an image will receive the prizes.
- Gifts must follow gift art rules. You can check dragons with open gift art HERE and open gift writing HERE. You may also post requests in the festival Discord channel (make sure to include a variety!).
- Gifts must be of dragons; While including Riders is always lovely, they do not count towards prizes.
- Art must have lineart/sketch of a full body dragon and a background. The background needs at least three elements. Shading and coloring are optional.*
- Writing should be 250 words per dragon.*
- Your art may be simple (such as a Chibi style), but should not appear rushed. Remember that these are gifts!
- You may turn them in all at once IF they have the same buffs. If not all of your prompts have a Party Parrot or ARPG friend applied, turn those ones in separately.
- Only the Party Parrot and Calendars can be used during the event. The artist will receive 1 Party Parrot Search Tool per prompt.
- Collaborations are allowed, but requirements are doubled (two guest dragons for art, double word count for writing). Additionally, the gift must be for a player that is not an artist of a piece.
- You may only get the reward for a prompt once.
- You may choose to depict different Emissaries instead of giving gift art to players, if desired.
- All dragon elements receive 2 Terrain EXP from the Festival event. If a dragon in the gift has access to a calendar, they get an additional +2 EXP. If a dragon has access to a Party Parrot, they get an additional +2 EXP. These bonuses stack if multiple are present.
- You can’t receive any sort of compensation for a gift. It should not be part of an art payment, trade, entry for a giftee’s contest, or anything similar.
- Art from the main event cannot be used for other types of rolls in Chronocompass, such as Adventures or Affiliation Quests.
- You may use these images to do rolls for other groups. If you do, please keep the spirit of the event alive and gift someone in that group as well!
*For the Chronocompass reward, they must meet normal activity requirements.
