D-155: Great Plains House

The land was both covered in hills yet extremely flat, the one thing that stayed the same was that all the land, hilly or flat, was covered in a fine blanket of soft bright green grass. It was the perfect place to own a farm, to raise cattle and other herbivorous animals on but that wasn’t what this land was used for. There was a herd of wild buffalo that migrated to the land and at least one would be taken as food by the owner of the land but other than that the wild animals were left alone. There was a lake nearby, nearly see thru most of the time and absolutely full of delicious fish, Hailey could confirm. A dragon sat at the edge of the lake, watching the fish with eerie calmness. The air around him was uncomfortable, was he going to catch a fish to eat? No…he would stay there and continue to watch them until he grew bored and that could take awhile.

On these plains sat a little wood house, painted a nice tan color, a cat sat in a comfortable chair on the patio, watching the bison graze in the distance. There was another structure nearby as well, a big wooden barn of sorts, it was nearly completely gutted with comfortable bedding covering the hard floor, a place for dragons to sleep. There was a dragon in the barn at this very moment, a smaller dragon, long and curled up on the largest heap of soft bedding, his bottom half was a tan and pink nebula and the top half was black. Usually Delight would sleep in the house, him being the size of a giant dog and all. He blinked and yawned, after all, there’s nothing more exhausted than a dragon who had done absolutely nothing all day.
