The lab in which Akriel and Ithuriel called home was not one that could be reached by normal means, secreted away in a pocked dimension that the pair had created... and it was mostly stable due to unusual magic stones that powered it... except when certain earth hybrids had gotten hungry when they were small and less small... then it had almost went poof..... almost..... Still nothing a few extra magical and technological precautions will take care of...
For any of the dragons to access the Maigtek Lab requires a unique item, coded directly to the dragon in question..... Akky and It can access it anywhere (It is actually the key in their case.)
From the outside the lab appears as nothing special, a large house with multiple windows... well and maybe a few odd components sticking out here and there. Inside though is where the lab becomes notable, the massive doors large enough now that even Naya'il and Jupiter can fit in... though Naya much prefers to linger outside in the special 'room' that her rider built for her, Jupiter often resides with her, having been banished due to his penchant for nibbling on the stones.
Inside is an array of various scientific machines (some familiar, some not, some powered and some inert), with wires and other components looping in and around the entire floor, powered by the pale blue power stones that Akky and It use primarily (now with protections to stop a certain sandstone dragon from nibbling).
While there had been separate rooms on the first floor, the doors have since been removed and through its entirety are wires leading to other areas... and even into the aether beyond the pocket dimension.... A kitchen and pantry are accessible... in and amongst all the contraptions.
Upstairs fares better for the most part, with the exception of the rooms claimed by Jalak, Illena and Prism, are all empty ... mostly... Akky's and It's room is a mess.. notes, diagrams, research materials... stray wires.... an invention which no one knows what to do...
