Amox lays, still as a living aquarium, mostly coiled around the treasures and lavish luxury Anzu and Tozi have collected over the years as a silent, sleepy guardian. Her enormous body hasn't moved from this duty for years and years. The temple gives ample sunlight, being aztec in style with a crumbled, open roof between the protective vines she's grown to stop above being an option to thieves.
She can easily be mistaken as a treasure herself by how little she moves over time, riches piling onto her smooth, cool scales to save space. She can, and will, fufill her duty though. Mostly using poisonous plants and vines to grab any thieves that dare enter, and dispatch them after dragging them to her yawning, cavernous maw. Her tail trails down the lofty stairs up and up into the temple though, coiling around structure and blending seemlessly like a living river into the jungle trees below.
The cult's clearing and center of worship dwells below, with her leafy tail offering a permanat alter for the flock. Tozi often uses her leaves in medicines, the clippings so miniscule that neither Tozi as her rider, or Amox, even really feels it.
