Personality: Belphagor is slow, patient, and almost impossible to provoke. She spends days, sometimes weeks, asleep in one place, becoming part of the landscape itself. Trees root into her scales, vines creep across her body, birds nest in her horns, and green crystals slowly grow from her hide. From a distance, she's indistinguishable from a forested hill or mountain, and that's exactly how she prefers it.

Despite her immense power, she's remarkably gentle toward those she trusts. She rarely moves unless she has a reason to, but when she finally rises, the earth trembles as an entire "mountain range" stands up. Many treasure hunters have learned too late that the inviting gem deposits and ancient-looking trees growing across her back belong to a living dragon. Those who disturb her sleep are met with a glare that convinces most to flee long before she ever needs to defend herself.
