Rory St. James was brought back into the family when his mother died. His father wasn’t one to abandon his kin, even if he had been born from a lover. Even the matriarch took him into the fold, and he was raised like a true member of the family despite his lack of familial resemblance. He has one older brother that delighted in having a younger sibling out of the blue and spoils him at every opportunity.

He gained a huge confident boost when he hatched Cloud–a light dragon, and a hallmark of the St. James family Riders–even though he did end up being a crossbreed. He’s more confident in his place in the family than he was as a child, though he still does get anxious about tarnishing the family name further.
