Ignis is astonishingly patient, to the point that many dragons mistake her for lazy or inactive. She is perfectly content remaining in one place for weeks or even months if she has no reason to move, allowing mosses, vines, shrubs, and even small saplings to root themselves across her scales. Birds build nests in the tangled branches growing from her back, insects live among the bark-like growths covering her shoulders, and countless small creatures come to regard her as nothing more than another part of the landscape. Rather than viewing this as an inconvenience, Ignis quietly enjoys the company. She has an unusual appreciation for life in all its forms and rarely disturbs the tiny ecosystem she carries with her.
Despite being a fire dragon, she treats fire less as a weapon and more as a force of renewal. She understands that forests recover from fire and often become healthier afterward, but she is careful to ensure that destruction serves a purpose rather than existing for its own sake. She is slow to anger and rarely raises her voice, yet once she decides that something truly threatens the balance around her, her demeanor changes with frightening speed. The same dragon that had been standing motionless beneath flowering vines moments before can suddenly explode into motion, scattering burning branches and blazing embers with astonishing force. After the danger has passed, she returns just as quietly to stillness, allowing the forest to reclaim her once more.
Ignis also has a habit of unintentionally startling travelers. They may spend hours resting beside what they believe is a fallen tree or overgrown rock formation, only for the entire "hill" to slowly rise to its feet. She almost always apologizes afterward, though her soft amusement suggests she secretly finds the reactions entertaining. Although she enjoys solitude, she isn't antisocial. She simply prefers companions who can appreciate long silences, the sounds of wind through leaves, and the quiet rhythm of nature continuing around them.
