Can fly?: Yes, very very well with his Wind magic
Can talk?: Yes, quite elequently when he wants to, but mostly has a rough and stroppy attitude of a teenager too big for his boots
Magic: Abaddon mostly shows his magic by destroying things with galeforce winds/general chaos. He doesn't really use his jungle magic much, unless his corrosive venom counts (it does)
Ridable?: Technically Yes (wouldn't recommend, not quite got the whole mount thing down yet)
Canon Mate: n/a, but has crushes on Viper/powerful dragons in general
Gets on best with: Mischief, Jones, Circuit, Iris, Viper
Dislikes but Tolerates: Mavis, Shepherd, Axel, Hollow
Hates: Soel, Glassworm, Phantom, Spice (pinecones)
Personality
Abaddon can best be described as an agent of chaos on an extendable dog leash. He only really acts on a request if he gets something out of it he actually wants, not food or praise. He's more intelligent then most, scarily so, but he likes to pretend he's innocently stupid if it means getting his way or flying under someone's radar he's trying to get information out of. High class manipulator. Childish when he doesn't get his way. Somewhat of a hopeless romantic as well, having a very large crush on Iris and Viper (neither of which particularly want anything to do with him). The spoiling and the (deserved for the most part) praise he does seem to get from Magnus makes him incredibly sensitive to rejection and punishment, however. This usually will result in lashing out and temper tantrums, and considering his elements those can have... bad results. Abaddon, you see, loves destroying things. He likes to topple buildings, level forests, rattle weather vanes and otherwise insight fear and destruction. He enjoys to hurt others as well, to make him feel better. This makes him a formidable opponent in, say, an underground fighting ring for example. He rarely loses, even at his young age. A reliable dragon to bet on.
His tantrums are only ever directed to other dragons and people, though. His masters disappointment in his lack of Night inheritance from his mother, Circuit, has given him something of a complex. As a result he tries to overachieve, fall into step. For Magnus, he'll do things even if he doesn't want to or wont get anything out of it. For Magnus, he'll do anything.
He, Viper and Mischief have become thick as thieves over time, finding their shared love of destruction, and... hunting techniques, easier with three dragons then just doing it by themselves. He dislikes Hollow for this reason - he hates when they 'steal' his friend from him. Despite all of that, he's also something of a mama's boy, and often tries to get attention from Circuit and his adoptive (incredibly one sided, Jones did not agree to this) second mother. Bringing them 'treats' and 'gifts' and trying to show off, Jones is an idol to him, wanting to be just as fiercesome and terrifying as her one day, and maybe... maybe become Magnus' favourite too.
Soel, Glass and Phantom all fall into the same category of annoying. Young, loud, or just plain jealousy and envy in Phantom's case. To be a night dragon, but not use their skills... he detests them.
He can be sarcastic and witty, but mostly, he talks and behaves the same as an edgy teenager what can I tell you. When flirting in his hopeless romantic way, he'll either be conceitedly showoffy or he'll be shy and gift giving. Either way, he'll probably end up driving the prospective mate away - or running away himself. He didn't expect to get this far. Too much pressure. He wants to be loved and adored. He definitely doesn't have daddy issues.
Beware; If kid gloves are not worn while rejecting or telling this dragon off, be prepared to paint a target the size of Sherok on your back, because he holds one hell of a grudge - and you might find yourself on the end of one of his destructive tantrums, or in special cases... on the menu.
