I have a few things that need edits before this lovely fella is good to go:
- Finned crest extends beyond the neck currently, which it cannot do.
- I don’t spot Shimmer. If the freckles are intended to be Shimmer, they must look a bit more like sparkles.
You have two weeks from today to make corrections, but if you need an extension again, feel free to ask!
How long can the fins extend beyond their 'roots'? I have it kind of like a horse's mane where the attached part ends just before the shoulders, and the fins trail down to where they are. I can definitely make the fins shorter, or make it more obvious where the attached part ends.... I realize now I didn't do the stripes on the fin properly to reflect this.
Hmm.. the freckles are indeed supposed to be shimmer. I'll have to see what I can do to make them sparkle a bit more~
The fins can extend beyond their roots in a way that flows naturally for the structure. Your lineart does make it appear as though the attached portion of the crest continues till the end of the shoulders, but it should cut off before them.
Sorry for the delay, I was getting second opinions. That won’t be counted against your time for fixes. As it is, the lineart still extends too low— you’ll need to make it clearer that it cuts off before the shoulder!
The fin looks good now! The shimmer still needs some edits, though— at least a few of those need a few ‘sparkly spokes’ sticking out to distinguish it as being sparkles.
